Well, we are more than happy to tell you that the IKEA SYMFONISK lineup does not feature any of it, and you will be getting a quality product at such a low-price range.
- Performance
Although we have mentioned how the IKEA SYMFONISK series packs in plenty of features at a very low price point, let’s discuss how the bookshelf speaker actually performs. During our time testing the product, we found it performs extremely well in almost every way. We’d like to mention how you can simply connect your device with the speaker to optimize its performance. For instance, you can use TruePlay which will use the microphone on your smartphone to scan the whole room and modify the speaker settings accordingly.
If you’re worried about the speaker being a bookshelf and not performing as well, then you need nothing to worry about as the speaker will not shy away from surrounding your whole room with music.
The only problem we found was with the frequencies of the speaker, as they tend to treble. We also recommend you to lower the bass settings of the speaker, as it starts to sound a bit weird at higher bass settings. But for a wireless speaker at such a low-price range, these are nothing but slight issues.

The IKEA SYMFONISK bookshelf speaker is a truly great addition to the IKEA and Sonos family. The wireless bookshelf speaker makes sure to cover all the basics that make up a good wireless speaker while giving you an incredible price. Surely there are some issues circling around the speaker as it is wireless, and is so cheap, but none of them are groundbreaking.
Although the final decision lies upon you, we’d still recommend you to buy the wireless bookshelf speaker made by IKEA and Sonos without a second thought. You will be getting so much more than you paid for.
