Planning Tips
Measurement tip: Use the actual finished border run, then subtract only edges where the border stops. A doorway with a threshold may still need border tile on one side.
Layout tip: Compare the pieces-by-run result with the pieces-by-area result. If the run result is higher, the tile length and corner pattern are controlling the order.

When planning to tile a floor, most of us think we need to just measure the square feet, order however many boxes are required to fill the space and then go at it.
