7Pattern Matching Tips
Mark the first full repeat: before cutting, identify one complete vertical and horizontal repeat on the cloth, then place the most visible panel there before nesting less visible panels.
Use usable width, not label width: printed fabric can have selvedges, pin holes, skew, or edge color changes, so measure the clean width before deciding how many panels fit across.
