Wax coat tip: Furniture wax is usually applied thinner than paint. A second wax coat protects high-touch tops and handles, but heavy wax can haze, so the calculator treats wax as a thin-pass coverage layer.

Yes, I know there are images on social media where someone’s made an entire room happen with just a quart. But then reality sets in.
