2) IKEA PS LÖMSK Swivel Chair
This is a combination of swivel and armchair that any child would love to have, mainly because of its fun design. It can comfortably seat a child of three years old or older without any problems and there’s also the option to pull the fabric on top.
Doing so allows children to easily convert their chairs into a hiding place for themselves. The fabric is made with materials that allow light to comfortably pass through, meaning that it’s never completely dark inside the IKEA PS LÖMSK once you convert it by pulling the fabric down. Another kids armchair which is a miniature variation of an adult armchair with the same name, the IKEA POÄNG is a great and simple chair which any child between ages 3-6 can comfortably sit on. It features a beautiful color that is identical to the color of the adult variation.
While it doesn’t have any notable special features, it is a highly comfortable and beautiful chair once you add a cushion to it. It is very affordable as well and your child will probably love to sit and read on it. All in all, this is definitely a recommended option if you’re on a tight budget and want a great armchair for your kid.
4) POÄNG Kid Armchair
Despite sharing the same name, the IKEA POÄNG isn’t all that similar to the one that was previously reviewed. The main difference between both the kids armchairs is obviously their color, but there are some differences in design as well.
It is well suited to children below the age of 6 or 7 and is easily cleanable thanks to its materials. Speaking of materials, the chair is also built to be sturdy and support the needs of a child. It is relatively quite simple in terms of the overall design, but it is quite comfortable as well and is a good option if you want a great but cheap armchair for your child.
